Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially seniors and those with disabilities, to maintain independence and quality of life. The caregiver will deliver personalized care tailored to each client's needs, fostering a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting mental well-being
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Administer medications accurately according to care plans
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean living space
  • Support clients with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques and equipment
  • Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
  • Assist with errands such as grocery shopping or pharmacy visits
  • Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, hospice needs, or other chronic conditions

Requirements

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of patient care, senior care, dementia care, and hospice care practices
  • Experience working with people with disabilities or in caregiving roles is advantageous
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or transfers
  • Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude towards clients of all ages
  • Ability to handle medication administration responsibly and accurately
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
  • Valid driver's license preferred for assisting with errands or appointments
  • Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care
