Class 1 US Driver – Montreal, QC

P&B Transport is a rapidly growing transportation and logistics service provider, specializing in next-day delivery to the Northeastern United States. We are committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring total customer satisfaction with every shipment.
We are currently hiring experienced Class 1 US Drivers based in Montreal, Canada.
Important:
- Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
- We are not accepting international applications at this time.
Compensation
- Pay based on experience: $0.60 per mile and up
- Plus: Pickups, Drops, NY Bonus, and other incentives
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to and from assigned destinations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklift)(Optional)
- Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation (logbooks, bills of lading, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial truck driver
- Valid Class 1 (CDL) license with proper endorsements
- Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes) is an asset
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
Skills
- Proficient in operating commercial trucks under various road conditions
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the job (lifting, long hours of driving)
