Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office technology, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental office procedures is a plus, but not required. The Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Jane App
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using computer skills, including typing, proofreading, and filing documents
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing paperwork
- Assist with bookkeeping activities
- Support front desk operations by managing incoming mail, emails, and correspondence
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Support clinic functions if applicable, including patient check-in/out procedures
Experience
- Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred, especially in office settings or physio/medical/dental offices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills required to manage multi-line phone systems effectively
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with insurance processing is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$25.43 per hour
