What you'll do

Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall business and marketing objectives.
  • Shape and define our social identity, crafting a tone, presence, and narrative that position Dash as best-in-class among our competitors.
  • Identify target audience segments and optimize social media campaigns for maximum engagement and lead generation.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Own the organic social content calendar, balancing creativity and data insights to guide channel strategy.
  • Partner with content marketing, design, and product teams to produce engaging, high-quality static and video content across platforms.
  • Write and edit compelling, on-brand short-form copy (captions, in-asset copy, video scripts, etc.) tailored to each channel.
  • Continuously monitor industry and platform trends to inform creative direction and innovation.

Platform Management:

  • Manage daily social media activity across social channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Meta, IG, Reddit, Quora, and emerging channels)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest platform trends, tools, and best practices, acting as the center of excellence for social media.
  • Monitor and manage brand sentiment across owned channels, actively engaging in discussions to promote brand awareness, maintain trust, and ensure appropriate comment moderation.

Creator:

  • Lead Dash's Creator/Influencer strategy, inclusive of new partner identification, negotiations, briefing, asset approval, and reporting.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and customers, with the objective of developing long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Paid team to ensure creator content is optimized for performance and aligned with campaign objectives.

Performance:

  • Advise on channel KPIs, and report on the effectiveness of social campaigns, including engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Own ongoing performance reporting across organic and creator campaigns, reporting to Director, Global Comms & Events and Senior Director, Lead Gen on optimizations and recommendations based on performance.
  • Own quarterly and annual reports, as well as strategic decks for evolving social strategy.

  • Social Native. You live and breathe social: understanding, driving and creating trends is second-nature.
  • Highly organized. You use task or project management software to stay on track and take pride in meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to detail. You have no tolerance for typos.
  • Possess impeccable writing skills, with the ability to adapt your writing style and tone of voice to various audiences.
  • Self-motivated. Ability to work heads down and maintain high productivity.
  • Are a people person. You function well in a team setting, and are able to communicate effectively with your team members, and cross-functionally.
  • Not afraid to take on new challenges and problem-solve. You are motivated by coming up with new ideas and taking risks.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role. Software-as-a-service, agency, or in-house (brand-side) social marketing experience preferred.
  • A degree with a focus in Marketing or Communications is preferred but not required.
  • Project management experience is an asset for this role.
