Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a User Experience Designer Intern based in Toronto, ON, with the flexibility to work remotely part-time. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, apply design thinking principles, and create user-friendly visual designs and prototypes. Day-to-day tasks include wireframing, designing user interfaces, gathering user feedback, and contributing to innovative UX solutions that align with GenPark's mission to enhance global brand-consumer connections.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of User Experience (UX) design and the ability to create user-centered solutions
  • Experience with Design Thinking and User Research methodologies
  • Skills in Visual Design and Prototyping to create and iterate on design concepts
  • Familiarity with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and collaboration tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for AI-driven technologies and their role in user-centric experiences
  • Enrolled in or recently completed a program in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
