We are looking for great candidates to join our Firehouse Subs team in Newmarket Founded in 1994 by former firefighting brothers Chris and Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs specializes in steamin' hot, large portion subs. Our restaurant offers a family-oriented dining atmosphere, complete with an authentic firefighter theme that celebrates local firefighting history, as well as the founding family's decades of firefighting service. Firehouse Subs is committed to saving lives through the establishment of the non-profit Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

Our Team Members are critical to the daily success of the restaurant. Part of our mission is to serve hearty and flavourful food, and it has to be done right As a restaurant shift leader, you are on the front lines of our operation, and standards must be met to ensure we execute on our mission and provide our guests with the very best service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ƒOpen and close the restaurant
  • ƒTrack inventory on a daily and weekly basis
  • ƒEnsure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • ƒProviding leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs "culture" and mission and vision statements.
  • ƒAssists the GM/Owner in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
  • ƒOrder weekly food products, produce and other supplies for the restaurant
  • ƒCommunicate, coach and train fellow teammates with a professional, positive attitude.
  • ƒDisplay a constant sense of urgency to the guest regardless of volume period.
  • ƒMaintain proper uniform and hygiene.
  • ƒHandle guest problems and complaints in an efficient and positive manner.
  • ƒParticipate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
  • ƒDeliver consistent and exceptional hospitality.
  • ƒProvide detailed menu and product knowledge to the guest.
  • ƒFollow policies and procedures.
  • ƒFollow all Operations Standards for Hospitality, Food Preparation and Safety.
  • ƒCompletion of Firehouse Subs training program.


Compensación: $16.50 per hour
