About The Role
As a key member of the Leadership Team reporting to the CEO, the Regional Director of Sales is accountable for driving profitable revenue growth, margin performance, and operational excellence across all branches within their assigned region.
This role provides direct leadership to Branch Managers and their respective sales teams and ensures Swish's sales strategy, customer care model, and performance standards are executed consistently across the region.
The Regional Director of Sales will live and lead The Swish Way, build strong branch leadership capability, maintain executive-level customer relationships, and deliver disciplined performance aligned with Swish's overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Performance & Profitability
- Lead and direct the overall sales and margin performance of all branches within the region
- Establish annual sales targets and performance plans for each branch aligned with corporate objectives
- Review financial performance regularly with the CEO, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and contribution
- Ensure disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking across all branches
- Take corrective action where performance gaps exist and implement improvement plans as required
- Identify and pursue regional growth opportunities including new market penetration, territory expansion, and strategic account development
Branch Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness
- Provide direct leadership, guidance, and performance management to Branch Managers
- Develop strong branch leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured development planning
- Build depth within the organization by identifying high-potential talent and strengthening succession planning
- Ensure consistent expectations for accountability, sales discipline, and customer engagement across all locations
- Foster a high-performance culture grounded in The Swish Way
Sales Strategy & Market Execution
- Execute Swish's sales strategy within the region, ensuring alignment of people, process, and tools
- Maintain a strong understanding of regional markets, competitive dynamics, and customer segments
- Support the growth of Enterprise Accounts, Business Development initiatives, Inside Sales, and vertical market programs
- Maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and participate in major account negotiations and renewals
- Ensure CRM utilization and data integrity to support informed decision-making and accurate forecasting
- Strengthen sales capability across branches by reinforcing structured sales processes and value-based selling approaches
Financial & Operational Leadership
- Manage regional budgets and oversee expense control in partnership with Branch Managers
- Protect and improve gross margin through pricing discipline, product mix management, and cost awareness
- Use financial and operational metrics to evaluate performance and guide decision-making
- Ensure coordination between sales, operations, supply chain, and customer service functions to support customer satisfaction and profitability
- Contribute to broader business planning discussions as part of the Leadership Team
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in a B2B environment
- Experience leading multi-branch or multi-location teams
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and margin improvement
- Strong financial literacy and operational understanding
- Proven ability to develop leaders and build accountable teams
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance tools
Work Environment & Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel within the assigned region
- Regular branch visits and in-person customer meetings
- Combination of field-based leadership and office responsibilities
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with an acceptable driver's abstract

The role
- Location: Western Canada (within reasonable proximity to a Swish branch)
- Salary Range: $110,000 to $150,000 annually
- Variable compensation: Annual performance bonus eligibility
- Vacation: Starting at 4 weeks
