MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail orientated self-starter who has the following skills and experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules
  • Adhere to safe laboratory practices by working in accordance with the MS Analytical Health and Safety program
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the department work stations and the equipment
  • Use appropriate cleaning materials to clean equipment as assigned
  • Verify and record calibration of equipment as needed
  • Additional duties as required by Manager or Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Technical Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a commercial laboratory is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be fit and able to perform the inherent requirements of the job.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
