Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive IT Production Support Engineer with strong experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices to manage, monitor, and support our critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L2 support for applications hosted on AWS/Azure platforms.

Monitor infrastructure using cloud-native and third-party monitoring tools. Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues related to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Automate routine operational tasks using Python, Shell scripting, and Power Automate.

Maintain and support BI tools such as Power BI and Cognos.

Collaborate with development and cloud engineering teams to resolve incidents and implement preventive measures

Required Skills:

Knowledge of Autosys, Window Scheduler, or similar

Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure Hands-on with Python, Shell scripting

Familiarity with DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and tools

Working experience in Windows/Linux environments

In-depth knowledge of L1/L2 IT Production Support processes and best practices

Experience with ticketing systems, reporting, and shift management.

Act as an escalation point and quality gate for tickets before L3 handoff.

Ensure incidents and service requests are handled per SLAs.

Good to Have:

Exposure to AI/ML or Gen AI

Familiarity with Cloudera and Axiom

ITIL Certification or Incident/Problem Management exposure
