True Movement caters to a diverse clientele, including athletes in leagues such as the NHL, CFL, and NCAA, as well as sports teams integrating the True Movement Method into their training programs. The company is committed to tailoring exercises and progressions to the unique goals and needs of each individual.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, for a True Movement Trainer. The Trainer will provide one-on-one and group training sessions utilizing the True Movement Method, assess and develop personalized plans for clients' stability, mobility, and strength, and ensure proper use of the True Movement Platform. Responsibilities also include monitoring client progress, offering corrective feedback, and maintaining a supportive and motivating environment. Trainers will contribute to promoting the True Movement philosophy and creating a high-quality experience for all clients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous Group Fitness Instruction is considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Comfortable talking in front of a group
  • Comfortable talking with a variety of people and personality types

  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

Completion of the True Movement Trainer Certification:

  • True Movement Trainers are trained In-House through our Certification Program
  • Completion of the Level 1 Certification (base certification level)
  • Maintenance of Certification though Professional Development and Continuing Education Credits is required
