Tutti Matti, Chef Alida Solomon's award-winning Tuscan trattoria in the heart of downtown Toronto, is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook with strong prep and pasta-making skills to join our kitchen team.

We're known for our authentic Tuscan cuisine, seasonal menus, handmade pasta, and warm, family-style hospitality. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is excited to work with exceptional ingredients and classic Italian techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute dishes to Tutti Matti standards during service.
  • Support daily prep - including sauces, vegetables, proteins, and pasta doughs.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and communicate effectively during service.
  • Assist with closing duties and next-day prep as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a line or prep cook in a busy, quality-driven restaurant.
  • Proficiency with pasta making and Italian cuisine.
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Food Handler certification (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and composure.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to downtown Toronto.

Schedule

  • Part-time role (approx. 20+ hours/week) with potential for more.
  • Must be available Tuesday through Saturday (4 days minimum).
