Forklift Operator/Order Picker

Huer Foods is searching for an energetic, motivated, and experienced Forklift Operator to join our distribution warehouse in Langley for a 6 months temporary position. Using a stand-up reach forklift, you will be primarily responsible for picking and shipping orders, product put-aways and filling empty pick bins.

Working hours will be 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Monday to Friday.

Please note that transportation is required as we are not on a bus route.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

  • Replenishment of products in the warehouse with the use of an RF scanner.
  • Safe operation of stand-up narrow aisle reach truck.
  • Accurate filling of product pick bins from narrow aisle overhead racking.
  • Pick orders accurately using an RF scanner, accurately pull and stage product for customer pickup and load.
  • Other warehouse tasks as assigned such as inventory counts, cleaning and picking.
  • Reporting damages to product or equipment to the warehouse manager.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant direct supervision.
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Punctuality and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Perform all tasks within the Company's safety standards.
