About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility using state of the art forklifts. This position plays a key role in supporting our production and logistics operations.

Shift: Dayshift

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to transport materials, products, and equipment supporting our production, shipping and receiving department as well as movement of goods throughout our facilities.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and material tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and production operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years operating forklift.
  • Valid forklift certification (required).
  • Experience operating overhead cranes is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour

  • Langley, BC V4W 3Y1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

  • Crane operating: 1 year (required)
  • Forklift: 2 years (required)
