We're looking for a temporary Full Time Income Tax Preparer to join our tax department from February 2026 – April 2026 to prepare for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, sole proprietors, investors, and self-employed professionals. This temporary position will work Monday to Friday, and should be flexible to work some evenings and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Consulting with clients to ensure the accuracy and completeness of their personal information
  • Ensuring that all necessary receipts and supporting documents have been provided
  • Reviewing tax returns from previous years to identify any missing or incomplete information or documentation
  • Completing current year's tax returns and ensuring they are accurate and in compliance with relevant guidelines

The ideal candidate will have a certificate in a related field plus have 1-3 years industry experience including:

  • Advanced knowledge of personal income tax laws
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of recent changes in tax law
  • Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply income tax rules and regulations
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
