Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis tools and methodologies, with an emphasis on business analysis, database management, and visualization. The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as R, Python, SQL, and Oracle.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and VBA to visualize key metrics.
- Design and maintain databases with Microsoft SQL Server and ensure data integrity through proper database design practices.
- Support project management initiatives by applying Agile methodologies and understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Automate data processing tasks using Bash (Unix shell) scripting to improve efficiency.
- Create detailed documentation of data workflows using Visio and other documentation tools.
- Participate in analysis discussions to provide insights that influence strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analysis with proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and Oracle databases.
- Strong knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Familiarity with Agile project management practices and SDLC processes.
- Experience with database design, business analysis, and analytics methodologies.
- Ability to develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate complex data clearly.
- Knowledge of VBA scripting for automation purposes is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
