Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Cyber Security Engineer role located in Regina, SK. You will be responsible for implementing and managing security protocols, conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring network traffic for threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with the IT team to enhance overall security posture, resolve security incidents, and provide technical guidance on cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Application Security and the ability to secure applications from design to deployment
  • Strong technical understanding of Cybersecurity and Network Security principles
  • Experience with Information Security processes and policies
  • Expertise in conducting Vulnerability Assessments and identifying/resolving security risks
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the IT industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
