The Building Operator is a dependable, self-starter with experience in building and property maintenance. You quickly identify issues and recommend corrective measures to ensure quality and safety. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach to your work, whether it is responding to an emergency request, working through light construction projects, conducting regular inspections or managing any team issues.

What you bring:

  • Basic working knowledge of HVAC systems/maintenance, electrical, plumbing, energy management systems and other building mechanical equipment including building automation systems
  • Ability to identify required maintenance, and co-ordinate with contractors obtaining quotes and managing to property budgets
  • 5th class Power Engineering Certification, or working towards, is preferred
  • Refrigeration Operator Certification, or working towards, is preferred
  • Solid tenant relations – responding to tenant calls for service
  • Pride in service delivery to the properties, tenants, and Property Management team
  • Ability to work independently
  • A valid driver's license and clean criminal record check.
