Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent food safety awareness, and experience working in a restaurant or food service setting. Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
  • Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during all stages of food handling
  • Support kitchen staff with cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, organized, and properly maintained
  • Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately
  • Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
  • Basic understanding of the food industry operations is a plus

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
