Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Technologist to join the team at a leading marine technology company based in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. This position is hybrid and requires minimum 3x week onsite. Relocation support is available.
This role involves supporting the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from concept through completion, by assisting in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, circuits, PCBs, wiring harnesses, and cable assemblies. It includes developing system architectures, integrating electrical components into larger systems, and ensuring designs meet functionality, reliability, safety, and manufacturability standards. The position works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless system integration, participates in design reviews, validates engineering deliverables, and creates test plans to verify system performance. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support during manufacturing and field operations, ensuring compliance with specifications and customer requirements, and mentoring junior electrical engineers and technologists.
