Job Summary:

We are seeking a certified and experienced 310T Truck Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills and be well-versed in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This role is crucial to ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and detailed inspections on trucks and trailers (brakes, engines, transmissions, etc.)
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Conduct repairs on various systems including engines, suspensions, steering, HVAC, and hydraulics
  • Complete work orders and service reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards and policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support when required
  • Participate in training and certification programs as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, air brake systems, and vehicle diagnostics
  • Proficient with tools, equipment, and computer-based diagnostic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Valid G-class driver's license (DZ or AZ license is a plus)
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
