Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments and materials
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide clear instructions before and after treatments
  • Maintain sterilisation of dental tools and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Record patient information accurately using IT systems and update dental records as needed
  • Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow efficiently
  • Provide general administrative support, including answering questions and guiding patients through procedures
  • Uphold high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the clinic
  • Support patients with care instructions, ensuring they understand post-treatment advice

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in patient care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic health records and appointment systems
  • Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
