Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Processing Clerk to join our produce processing team. This role is responsible for the preparation, processing, and handling of fresh fruits and vegetables, with a strong focus on juicing operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in a fast-paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process fresh fruits and vegetables according to production schedules and SOPs

  • Operate juicing and processing equipment safely and efficiently

  • Wash, peel, cut, juice, strain, and package produce products

  • Accurately measure yields, volumes, and batch quantities

  • Label, date, and store finished products correctly

  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and processing equipment

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines at all times

  • Assist with inventory rotation (FIFO), waste reduction, and yield optimization

  • Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or shortages to supervisors

  • Support other processing tasks as required

Primary Area of Expertise

  • Juicing operations (citrus, fruits, vegetables)

  • Understanding of juice yields, consistency, and quality control

  • Comfortable working with commercial food processing equipment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in food processing, produce handling, or juicing preferred

  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and production standards

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency

  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs

  • Comfortable working in a cold or refrigerated environment

  • Team-oriented, punctual, and dependable

  • Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards

  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
