Compression Technology is actively seeking a qualified Red Seal Journeyperson Mechanic to join our Gas Compression Maintenance team in Northern BC. This position follows an 8-on/6-off rotational schedule and offers an exceptional compensation package, including some of the most competitive wages in the industry, a comprehensive benefits plan, and RRSP matching. Preference will be given to candidates local to Fort St. John but we are willing to consider techs throughout BC and Alberta.

Key Responsibilities: Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gas compression equipment and related systems. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. Accurately document all maintenance activities and equipment records. Collaborate effectively with team members to support operational reliability and schedule adherence.

Qualifications: Red Seal Journeyman Mechanic certification (required).Prior experience in gas compression maintenance required. Strong diagnostic abilities and a high level of mechanical competence. Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.
