We believe that by working closely with our partners, we can achieve outstanding results together._ Position Overview _The Journeyman Mechanic performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate will bring technical ability, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to keeping equipment in top operating condition to ensure minimal downtime._ Key Responsibilities _ Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections in compliance with regulations Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used Ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards for safety and quality Work collaboratively with shop supervisor, dispatch, and corporate operations to minimize downtime Maintain a clean and safe work environment_ Qualifications _ Red Seal Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic certification (required) Minimum 1 year of experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
