We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Senior Sales Team Member for the Sales Group at our Lower Mainland locations.

HME is a fast-growing company, with over 140 full-time staff in offices located in Richmond, South Surrey, Victoria, Nanaimo, Kelowna, North Vancouver, Sechelt, Kamloops, and Abbotsford.

We are looking for a motivated, task-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation includes a competitive salary, and we provide a friendly team-orientated environment.

Hours for this role are full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. However, working hours may vary according to business needs and employees may be required to work additional hours on evenings and weekends from time to time. No remote work is available. HME offers a competitive wage along with a full benefits package inclusive of extended medical benefits.

This position will support and lead HME's sales team. We are looking for a motivated, task-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation includes a competitive salary range and we provide a friendly team-orientated environment.

Your core job duties at HME include:

  • Provide consultative services to therapists during the seating and mobility process including Equipment Trials, Product Demonstrations and Education and Equipment Sales

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with healthcare professionals, providers, facilities and all referral sources

  • Achieve monthly sales objectives

  • Work with management at HME to identify sales opportunities

  • Continue to build out sales in the Lower Mainland

  • Provide quarterly business plan

  • Advise on education and training opportunities

  • Prepare quotations, product information, and other documents as requested following the Company's Standard Operating Procedures

  • Assist with trade shows, in-services and training seminars

  • Troubleshooting equipment, providing diagnosis and repairs on-site

  • Maintaining and coordinating quotes, trials and consultations in an organized fashion using HME's proprietary CRM system

  • Other sales duties may arise that are not explicitly listed but may be required within the scope of this position.

The following duties will be required of the Senior Position:

  • Your Annual Sales Target will be a minimum of $1 Million in Revenue.

  • You will be assigned a new Sales Coordinator for whom you will train and develop into an independent revenue generating Junior Sales Rep within six months.

  • You will show diligence and complete all internal sales 'housekeeping' tasks, such as Quote follow-ups and AR collections. We expect that you will be a leader and model appropriate completion of these task for other reps, junior to you.

Other required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English (both verbal and written).

  • Strong computer skills (fast)- must be comfortable with MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel

  • Must have a valid full BC driver's license (L and N are not acceptable)

  • Multi-tasking and hardworking

  • Must have a friendly, positive attitude and have the ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.
