Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with experience in various types of heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, and farm machinery. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality service while providing excellent customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely during testing and repair processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and recommendations.

Requirements

  • **Does NOT need to be licensed **
  • Proven mechanic experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required by the job.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
