Club Assistant Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Club Manager at Anytime Fitness is a passionate and service-driven professional who supports the Club Manager in all aspects of club operations, sales, and team leadership. This individual helps drive membership and training sales, ensures exceptional member and guest experiences, and plays a key role in maintaining a thriving club culture. The Assistant Club Manager will work across both the Wasaga Beach and Alliston locations and will have the opportunity to grow into a Club Manager role within one year.

This position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a team-first mentality, and a desire to develop professionally in the fitness industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

• Assist in generating leads and converting them into members through follow-ups, consultations, and relationship building.
• Learn and communicate the value of our personal training programs and fitness technology (Anytime Fitness App, body scanner, heart rate monitors).
• Help the Club Manager meet or exceed membership and training sales targets.

Community Engagement & Brand Promotion

• Support B2B marketing and outreach efforts to promote the Anytime Fitness brand.
• Help execute community events, local partnerships, and national marketing campaigns.
• Represent the club positively and professionally in both locations.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Club Manager to support and motivate staff, contributing to a culture of trust, positivity, and high performance.
• Assist in training, onboarding, and coaching team members.

Operations & Administration

• Support daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, and member management.
• Help track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business growth.
• Assist in maintaining club cleanliness and ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning.
• Manage club software and billing systems for accurate and efficient member service.

Customer Experience & Club Culture

• Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring all members feel welcomed, supported, and inspired.
• Help foster a positive and inclusive club culture that members are proud to be a part of.

Job Requirements

• Must be available to work in both Wasaga Beach and Alliston locations.
• 18 years or older with flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Outgoing, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping others.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated and reliable with excellent time management.
• Comfortable using technology and social media platforms.
• Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus; fitness industry experience is an asset but not required.
