Job Description

The successful applicant will gain experience in a broad field of civil engineering projects in a dynamic and positive team environment.

  • Develop and refine detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit).
  • Prepare grading, drainage, roadway, utility, and site development design elements.
  • Assist engineers with design calculations, reports, and project documentation.
  • Perform field inspections, collect site data, and document existing conditions.
  • Verify contractor work for compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.
  • Record field measurements and prepare daily inspection reports.
  • Support bid document preparation, including drawing sheets, details, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and utility companies.
  • Oversee and mentor junior technicians and interns.

You will have a background in:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering program
  • Over 2 years civil engineering technician experience.
  • Proficiency with civil CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit )
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and survey documents.
  • Experience with field inspections, surveying equipment, and data collection tools.
  • Problem solve skill, highly organized and ability to work in fast pace environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, Outlook)
  • Punctual, independent and self-motivated
  • Ability to build and develop effective relationships with team members
  • Motivated self-starter with discipline to work independently to achieve targets

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37.60 per hour
