Social Media Specialist
who can bring our ideas, and our clients' stories to life.
The Role
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and optimizing social media content across multiple client accounts and our own brand channels. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution and is ideal for someone who enjoys both content creation and performance analysis.
You will work closely with account managers, strategists, and creative team members to bring social strategies to life.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Publishing
- Create and schedule social media content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and others as required
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand captions tailored to each platform
- Adapt long-form content (blogs, emails, videos) into social-ready assets
Community & Engagement
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions
- Support basic community management and escalation when needed
Strategy & Optimization
- Execute approved social media strategies and content calendars
- Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, clicks, and conversions
- Identify content trends, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement
- Assist with reporting and insights for clients and internal teams
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work with account managers to stay aligned on client priorities
- Follow internal processes for approvals, scheduling, and reporting
- Contribute ideas during planning sessions and campaign development
What We're Looking For
Required
- 1 to 3 years of experience managing social media for brands or clients
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (HeyOrca)
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and KPIs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
Nice to Have
- Agency experience
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
- Familiarity with paid social or boosting content
- Understanding of how social supports lead generation and brand growth
