Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems, as well as the ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse management within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
  • Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Support shipping & receiving processes by accurately documenting incoming and outgoing shipments using systems like AS400
  • Maintain organization of warehouse storage areas and ensure proper stacking and storage of materials
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment using warehouse management systems
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to handle large or bulky items
  • Support construction or manufacturing-related tasks as needed for warehouse operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations involving heavy equipment or materials

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in warehouse distribution, manufacturing, or construction environments preferred
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
  • Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment operation
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and software such as AS400 is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packing, and shipping processes
  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and inventory control practices
  • Experience working with heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety standards is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with order fulfillment processes including load & unload activities is preferred

Pay: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
