Responsibilities

  • Teach coding classes to students aged 5–12 (Scratch, Python for kids)
  • Design and deliver dynamic coding lessons tailored to children's age groups and skill levels, incorporating fun projects that promote creativity and logical thinking.
  • Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining a positive atmosphere that encourages participation and respect among students.
  • Track students' learning progress and communicate with parents

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or after-school programs.
  • Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to motivate young learners through energetic teaching methods.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies tailored for early learners.
  • Experience with STEM education, particularly coding or technology-based instruction for kids.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages and backgrounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
