Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible Driveways during winter conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and mechanical knowledge, ensuring that snow removal equipment is operated efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Operate snow plow truck and other equipment to clear snow and ice from driveways, parking lots, and pathways.
  • Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checking fluid levels, changing filters, and conducting minor repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective snow removal operations.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly to maintain safety standards.
  • Assist in landscape maintenance tasks during off-season periods, including gardening, irrigation, and horticulture activities.

Skills

  • Proficient in operating excavators and other heavy machinery related to snow removal.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Background in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in challenging weather conditions.
