Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, supporting children's development and well-being. This role requires flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children. Prior experience in childcare, nannying, or daycare settings is highly valued. Duties

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks related to children's care, including cleaning toys and play areas
  • Administer basic first aid if necessary and handle minor injuries promptly
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities as required
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities and any concerns
  • Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages social skills and independence

Experience

  • Prior experience with children in roles such as babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or teaching is preferred
  • Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and preschool activities is highly desirable
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and their families
