Job Title: Millwright

Location: Calgary, AB

Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Overview of the Role: Our client is an international food manufacturing company, and they are looking for a motivated Millwright to join their team in Calgary. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the individual will be responsible for the reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance of manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment during breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out equipment installations, modifications, and repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and promote a safety-first culture while continuously improving standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other trades groups to complete project assignments.
  • Adhere to food safety protocols and work effectively in a processing environment.

Qualifications:

  • Millwright with a Journeyperson ticket/license or Certificate of Qualification.
  • Hands-on experience in the food industry or high-speed packaging plants is an asset.
