- Deliver high-quality service through efficient processing and administration of commercial combined renewals and MTAs.
- Uphold agreed service levels for internal and external customers while maintaining accurate audit trails in Covea systems.
- Stay current on commercial property and liability markets, regional broking trends, and relevant legislation or litigation impacting underwriting.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong knowledge of general insurance underwriting principles, with the ability to accurately process property‑biased risks and escalate when required.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with both internal teams and external brokers.
- Solid awareness of market trends, legal developments, and industry changes impacting commercial insurance.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), combined with strong problem‑solving abilities, prioritisation, and deadline management.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, supported by strong PC and systems proficiency; proactive and innovative in approach.
- Professionally qualified to A Level standard (minimum Grade C in Maths & English GCSE), with CII progression preferred.
