Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking reliable, skilled and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality products while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform quality inspections throughout the production process.

Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion machinery, including setting up and adjusting equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products using tools such as calipers and other measuring devices.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment and comply with 5S program.
- Utilize hand tools, input data using scanners.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and quality metrics.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as an Extrusion Operator or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and operate logic controllers.
- Experience with quality inspection processes and tools, including calipers.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work long hours, hardworking, and have a willingness to learn.
Work Conditions
- Use of required personal protective equipment
- High noise levels
- Extended periods of standing, repetitive work and other physically demanding conditions
- Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50lbs
- 12-hour Shifts (Morning/Day/Afternoon/Evening/weekends)
