Your safety, health, family, work, entertainment your whole life; that’s our connection. **Lead Quality Assurance Technician** at Dura-Line Orbia in St.Albert, Alberta Full-Time **We offer 3 BONUSES**: $1,500 Sign-On Bonus - paid in 3 installments $1,500 Employee Referral Bonus - paid in 3 installments Up to $1,500 Shared Success Quarterly Bonus Competitive Pay > Benefits > Job Stability > Positive Work Culture Work at a new state-of-the-art manufacturing Benefits Job Stability Positive Work Culture **The Lead Quality Assurance Technician **will facilitate and assist in the Quality Assurance, document control, safety functions at the plant, and daily quality SAP (centralized enterprise management system). **Responsibilities and Requirements**: - Prepare Certification of Compliance as requested - Inspect products during the extrusion process using calipers, micrometers, tape, and weight scale - Compare product with customer specifications - Make decisions on product status, and mark the type of defect if applicable - Document information on work orders - Inspect and tag reels - Test incoming raw material and conduit, and record the date - Operate diagnostic equipment needed to perform job - Follow all safety requirements - SAP daily movements, transactions, and system management - Perform all other tasks and projects as assigned or required - Quality Laboratory Scheduling and Management - TL900 (ISO) Plant setup and preparation through internal audits - Document control management process - Support Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager in scheduling and management of all equipment calibrations - Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and file management, Data Entry for reporting **Skills and Qualifications**: - 2 + years’ experience working in quality control, quality assurance, or inspection in a manufacturing environment - 1+ year's of management/supervision/lead experience (desirable) - Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and file management, Data Entry for reporting - SAP or ERP inventory systems (desirable) - Data management and data integrity - Attention to detail and good analytical skills **What we offer**: Dura-Line offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package inclusive of, but not limited to: medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, paramedical, pension plan, disability and life insurance, and education reimbursement.
