Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare professionals to join our network. We connect families with qualified caregivers and provide a safe, supportive platform for both providers and families.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a loving family in Bragg Creek for a part time, live-out nanny.

Position Summary

As a nanny, you will provide attentive and nurturing care in the family's home, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the children. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and experienced in caring for newborns/infants.

In addition to childcare, the successful candidate will assist with light housekeeping, cooking, dishes, laundry and pet care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, personalized childcare
  • Support child's daily routines, hygiene, and meals
  • Engage child in age-appropriate activities and play
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines and updates
  • Assist with household tasks, including light housekeeping, cooking, dishes and laundry
  • Light pet care
  • Driving in future, to take child to activities or around the community

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Current Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR Level B or C
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Proven experience caring for newborns
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, proactive, and able to follow directions
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
  • Able to provide recent childcare-related references

Hours of Work

2 to 3 days per week, 830 am to 430/5 pm. Preferred days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Flexibility in scheduling is required as the role may evolve to include more hours, evenings, overnights and travel within Canada on occasion.
