Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Secretary to join our Cardiology clinic. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support within a busy medical office ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a minimum of 1 year experience.

Duties

  • Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and confirmations.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories
  • Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, faxing, and correspondence
  • Support clinical staff by coordinating referrals and follow-up appointments

Requirements

  • Strong office experience with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and administrative tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience working in a medical office is mendatory
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor are essential
