Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. With years of experience in the waste removal, collections ad hauling, Underground Disposal LTD. strives to meet and exceed customer expectations, satisfaction in our daily operations. We are currently looking to fill the position of CLASS 3 DRIVER with air endorsement. If you are a hard working team player, have a good knowledge of the city and its surrounding areas, have a clean commercial abstract, you could be a good fit for our growing team and we welcome you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial trucks to collect / pick up waste & recycle and transport it to pre determined designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Safe and efficient operations of commercial vehicle and knuckle boom crane.
  • Maintain DVIR's & driver Logs.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in basic mechanic repair and maintenance tasks as needed.

Skills

  • Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including Knuckle boom cranes, skid steers, fork lifts,
  • Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and practices.
  • Experience in freight handling and logistics management.
  • Basic routine maintenance of vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. -Knowledge of knuckle boom cranes and experience operating will be considered an asset.

-Proficient experience driving tandem axel trucks will be considered an asset.

  • Experience operating Knuckle Boom Cranes considered an asset.

-General knowledge of the city.

-Experience in the waste collection, hauling will be considered an asset.

-A strong commitment to customer service is required for this position.

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
