Job Summary

Trash Gordon Waste Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver / Labourer to join our waste and site services team. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating trucks, handling roll-off bins, and performing physical labour on active construction and commercial sites. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team to keep job sites clean and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company trucks used for roll-off bin delivery, pickup, and dumping.
  • Deliver, place, and retrieve roll-off bins at construction, renovation, and commercial job sites.
  • Transport bins to approved disposal and recycling facilities and dump loads safely and efficiently.
  • Assist crew members with manual waste removal, including throwing out construction and demolition debris by hand when required.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and road-ready.
  • Secure loads properly and ensure bins are transported in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Follow dispatch instructions closely to ensure bins are delivered and picked up at the correct site and location.
  • Maintain accurate logs, tickets, and documentation for all loads and trips.
  • Keep trucks, bins, and job sites clean and organized.
  • Represent Trash Gordon Waste Ltd. professionally with customers, site supervisors, and the public.
  • Work collaboratively with dispatch and crew members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
  • Be available to work overtime and weekends as required to complete scheduled tasks.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 considered an asset).
  • Experience driving medium or heavy-duty trucks preferred.
  • Previous experience with roll-off bins, dump trucks, or waste hauling is a strong asset.
  • Ability and willingness to perform physical labour, including lifting and manual waste handling.
  • Strong understanding of job site safety and load securement.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evening shifts.
  • Willingness and availability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
