Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Traffic Planner, based in Calgary, AB, with some flexibility for remote work. The Traffic Planner will be responsible for creating plans to improve vehicle, pedestrian, and public transportation flow. The role involves analyzing traffic patterns, developing traffic management strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient mobility. Additionally, the Traffic Planner will contribute to urban planning initiatives and address transportation challenges to promote sustainable growth and connectivity.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Transportation Planning and Traffic Management
  • Strong understanding of Mobility Management principles and Planning processes
  • Experience or knowledge in Urban Planning and its application to traffic systems
  • Ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and communicate findings effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field
  • Experience with GIS software or transportation modeling tools is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders and teams
