Opportunities may also be available in Calgary, Alberta. The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairs, restores, and installs structural wood/steel work and related materials.Responsibilities:Structural inspections of the building envelopeDoor systems and rekeying - installs locks, doorknobs, and other building hardwareGeneral repair work including but not limited to, maintaining doors, floors, windows, partitions, ceilings, and exteriors of buildings; builds and installs door and window framingConstruction and renovation work, roofing, crawl spacesBuild wooden/steel structures such as partitions, building, office additions, does sheeting and rough carpentry on the buildings as well as final finishesPerform hand and bench work in carpentry work shop; operate planers, joiners, drill presses, power saws, sanders, and other woodworking machineryRepair and maintain hand tools, saws, and other carpentry toolsOther duties as assignedQualifications:A Red Seal and Certificate in Carpentry is an asset.Minimum of 3 years of experience, specifically in building maintenanceClass 5 license and clean drivers abstract is requiredGood mechanical skills and understanding of building components and equipmentGood communication, customer service and teamwork skillsWe would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.This position has been identified as safety sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test, fit to work medical test, and criminal record check.Collection, use, and retention of personal information will be in accordance with ATCO Group privacy policies and practices.By submitting your resume and personal information to the ATCO Group of Companies, and/or participating in a personal interview, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by the ATCO Group of Companies to determine your suitability for employment opportunities within the ATCO Group of Companies., Badesha, Jas, >
