Mobile Quality Lab (MQL) Canada is responsible for quality of all mobile products launched in Canadian market. The MQL team aims to set the mobile industry standard in quality by holding ourselves accountable to working with integrity, deepening our expertise, and providing comprehensible education to our customers.
As a member of Mobile Quality Lab Canada, the AI Automation Engineer will design, develop, and deploy automation solutions focused on enhancing business process and boosting operational efficiency. You will leverage AI APIs and machine learning models to build custom automation tools and seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into our existing systems. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with background in programming and passion for AI.
Role and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and application using Python and/or other modern programming languages.
Utilize AI/ML APIs to build automation solutions for tasks like data extraction, processing/analysis, and software testing.
Integrate new and existing AI solutions with internal platforms such as STP (Samsung Test Platform – automation framework based in Python).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate AI solutions.
Continuously maintain and optimize automation tool to troubleshoot issues and improve scalability and reliability
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Knowledge:
Strong proficiency in Python and other modern programming languages and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Solid understanding of software development principles, including version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD pipeline.
Work level understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Knowledge with automation framework is required.
LLM model knowledge is required.
Hands-on experience with one or more major AI/ML APIs.
Knowledge in quality assurance terminologies and various test methods is desired.
Mobile communication industry knowledge is preferred.
Ideal candidate is self-starting motivated type and engage with multiple teams in multiple locations.
Ideal candidate will require excellent multi-tasking skills and communication skills.
Experience:
4+ years of software development is required
Previous experience in the mobile communication - test automation field is preferred
