Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to engage with diverse patrons while showcasing your skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management, multitasking abilities, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders and payments efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Assist in setting up for events or special functions as required
  • Follow all food industry standards to promote a safe and enjoyable environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in bartending roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and measurement adjustments
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances the guest experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality industry
