Job Overview

We are seeking candidates that possess excellence Customer Service skills, is a team player, ability to work in a fast pace environment, coffee lover and an outgoing personality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service, food handling, and cash management, contributing to a positive dining experience.

CAFE HOURS: MONDAY-THURSDAY 6:30-4:00PM, FRIDAY 6:30-3:00PM

Duties

  • Greet customers and provide assistance with menu selections and inquiries.
  • Operate POS systems.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
  • Prepare food items as per safety standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food preparation stations.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Experience in food preparation and serving, with knowledge of food safety practices.
  • Barista experience is a plus, enhancing beverage service capabilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
