Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a P roject Specialist, Energy on temporary 2 year term on our Energy team. This position is a hybrid opportunity with preference for candidates based in Saskatoon SK.

Are you interested in learning about energy systems and processes and being a key contributor in their initiatives? Are you looking to develop your stakeholder management and project management skills? This position offers these learnings as well as the unique opportunity to join FCL's new and growing Energy Business Performance team.

What you'll do:

  • Support the short-term planning and coordination of Energy Business Performance projects by maintaining information, communicating with various stakeholders, planning meetings, creating presentations, reports, and more.
  • Independently review project deliverables for alignment with objectives, schedules, and program requirements.
  • Track project team progress, provide reporting, and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion of tasks.
  • Collect, verify, and analyze information to support the Energy Business Performance team in having accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational recommendations.

Who you'll work with:

The Team: You will report to the Manager, Business Systems Planning & Design, on a team focused on driving change that will positively impact the Energy business.

The Collaborators: In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the Energy Products & Services team and engage with other teams such as Technology, and Facilities Design & Development to drive project success.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Project Management & Business Analysis and :

  • Have 1-3 years of related experience. Exposure to project management would be considered an asset.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including developing PowerPoint presentations, Power BI dashboards, and Excel spreadsheets to support business needs.
  • Are strong in communication and organization and are eager to learn and grow.
  • This opportunity is a Band 4 – Management position and falls within the Professional Services career stream.
