ABOUT THE ROLE
One of our clients is looking for a senior-level channel sales professional to drive regional revenue growth through strong distributor and partner relationships. This role focuses on expanding market presence, influencing specifications, and delivering value-added fire alarm solutions across key verticals and strategic accounts.
You'll work closely with channel partners, consultants, engineers, electrical contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction to grow share, win complex projects, and execute long-term sales strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and manage senior-level relationships with channel partners and key accounts across an assigned territory
- Develop and execute joint sales strategies aligned to regional targets and partner growth commitments
- Drive demand generation through prospecting, lead development, and new market expansion
- Position differentiated fire alarm products and software solutions to influence specifications and bids
- Deliver seminars, technical training, product demos, and support at industry events and tradeshows
- Negotiate and close complex sales opportunities to achieve revenue and profitability goals
- Maintain accurate CRM activity including forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
- Track competitor activity, market trends, and bid platforms to support year-over-year growth
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of channel sales or account management experience selling complex fire alarm systems
- Proven success managing key accounts and driving consistent revenue growth
- Strong knowledge of Canadian fire codes, CAN/ULC, and NFPA standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents
- Established network with electrical contractors, engineers, architects, consultants, and AHJs
- Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
- High level of independence, organization, and strategic selling capability
- Comfortable managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
