Job Summary

Newell's Quality Furniture is seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Cabinetry Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cabinet assembly and installation, with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. This role involves both assembling custom cabinets, and on-site installation in residential settings.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble custom kitchen and bathroom cabinets accurately and efficiently in the shop.
  • Install cabinetry, millwork, and trim on job sites with precision and attention to detail.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation layouts.
  • Ensure all installations are level, secure, and finished to Newell's Quality Furniture standards.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with project managers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in both the shop and on job sites.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in kitchen cabinetry installation and assembly.
  • Strong carpentry and woodworking skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience using common woodworking tools and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Physically capable of lifting and positioning cabinets and materials.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
