Ottawa, Ontario, Canada RAMPART Full time $75,000 - $80,000 per year

Rampart is seeking a highly skilled, creative, and detail-driven Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing team. This role will focus on elevating the visual standard of brands of Rampart and its partner brands. You'll design everything from trade show graphics to catalogs to product packaging/collateral, digital/web assets, contributing directly to the visual identity of Canada's leading provider of operational equipment.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of layout, structure, and brand presentation, capable of turning complex ideas into clean, professional designs that support marketing campaigns, product launches, and ongoing brand growth. This position is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment and wants to see their work directly influence professional and defense markets.

Design & Creative Execution:

  • Design visual marketing materials for print and digital use, including catalogs, spec sheets, infographics, trade show graphics, packaging, social media.
  • Translate creative direction and project briefs into refined, production-ready designs.
  • Support the development of brand identity and guidelines for new brands and products.
  • Maintain a high standard of design consistency across all outputs.
  • Provide graphic support for video content and social media.
  • Update and our websites through Elementor (WordPress)

Brand & Campaign Support:

  • Support new product launches, brand rollouts, and marketing campaigns with creative visual assets.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Marketing & Events Specialist on Rampart's busy marketing calendar to align design deliverables with campaign strategy and timelines.
  • Collaborate on creative concepts, then take ownership of design execution from start to finish.

Workflow & Collaboration:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment on design goals and deadlines.
  • Contribute to a lean, high-functioning team that values independence, accountability, and precision.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer
  • High level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Experience in After Effects a plus but not a requirement
  • Website design experience a plus but not required
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and brand development.
  • Experience designing for print, digital, and packaging applications.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a small, fast-paced team environment.
  • Eager to learn and take on new projects that push skills and creativity further.
